Caloundra Regional Gallery on the beautiful Sunshine Coast is opening this exciting exhibition featuring young Queensland artists including works by Tyza StewartSam Cranstoun, Dale Harding and Alice Lang.

The piece pictured is by Alice Lang and is titled 'Epic Fail / Friendship Bracelet ( 2013, Acrylic, Wool & Polymer). Alice graduated from the MFA programme at CalArts in 2015 and is currently represented by Karen Woodbury Gallery in Melbourne.

You may remember seeing some of Alice's work in our store window a couple of years ago in conjunction with the IMA's Subtropic Complex.

If you're in Brisbane and keen to get to the exhibition, there is free bus service running on Saturday the 4th of March from outside the IMA at 12pm. Check their website for details here.

If you're far away like me, it might be a good excuse for some warm water swims.

Close Enough runs until April the 13th, 2017.
