Raul Solis was born in Mexico, raised in Los Angeles
and currently lives in New York city.
The designer worked at 7 For All Mankind and Proenza Schouler
before launching is own line in 2014.
He is inspired by sculpture, photography, music and most
obviously street and nightclub culture.
Raul describes his looks as “soft post-minimal”.
I call it wild.

His collections don’t follow mainstream trends but make statements
on moments and moods in current fringe nightclub culture.
It’s a brave statement which will gather even more respect years from now.
Raul is stocked at Opening Ceremony, Assembly NY, Assembly LA and
Shop Super Street in the United States.
