MIFF, BIFF, Tex, Tim, MWF, MFW, NGV & More!

Hi Everyone!

Sorry that it's been a little while. Where did that month go? Where did that two years go?! I can't believe that it has been 2 years since I came to Melbourne to do the Pop-Up store for a month and ended up staying forever.

So this is my third Melbourne International Film Festival and have I have thrown myself in to it with even more enthusiasm and a bigger list of films.

I was very surprised and happy to hear that the Brisbane International Film Festival (BIFF) has made a come back after being axed a few years ago. Whyyyyyyy we cried? A city should have an international film festival.

It's not only the exhilaration of seeing the films, it's the chats in the queue, the festival buzz, the camaraderie.

After hours of research, these are my picks. They might not all be good (I've only seen 8 so far (my ratings noted) and they might not be you...so would love to hear about what you're seeing also and your thoughts.
